Thanks for the
Memories...
THIS SECTION IS DEDICATED TO
My beautiful Mother and our "family of friends" who have cruised with us in the past and have since passed on...
leaving their footprints in our hearts.

CECIL WAIVE COVERT BOWEN
To my beautiful Mother

Three Generations (1995)
Mom, I'd give anything to take you on a dozen more cruises...

HERBERT LEE ADAMS
Mililani
enjoying the fun loving Mr. Personality, Herbert Lee Adams of California. (NOTE: Herbert's sister Bertie and brother-in-law Bill Atkison of California, also cruised on this October 2000 "Aloha in the Caribbean w/Butch Cruise")
Butch & the Dancers (Herbert Lee & I dancing when Butch was entertaining on the Enchantment of the Seas)
HELEN BROWN
MANY MEMORIES with Helen Brown of Ohio. During the time that Mililani worked aboard the S/S Independence gift shop in Hawaii, Helen and her school chum, Mary Perkinson from Florida wandered in looking for easy directions to their cabin. After the October 2000 cruise when Mililani became Judy Jones, Helen was the one and only to tag Mililani as "JJ". Helen was lots of fun, had endless energy; was always quick to plan the next cruise. Her frequent calls & letters every few weeks are missed.

This "SHIP HAPPENS" group of 55 was Mililani's first attempt at a large cruise group! (NOTE: Not all are in the photo) Such a
blessing to have Mom, children, and many friends on this amazing adventure.
Sadly, three friends from this group are now gone and memories of cherished cruises shared with them are a treasure.
Gene Stovall from Kalamazoo, Michigan is standing next to his wife Paula Mulder-Stovall. I so enjoyed sitting at their table at dinner on our cruises together. (Gene was Lisa Marchand Rumsey, my daughter-in-law's uncle, and brother-in-law to Kay; Dennis Marchand, all pictured below in this group photo).

Margaret Pagnard on Aruba Cruise
Margaret Pagnard of Columbus, Ohio. I called Margaret "Roomie" since the time we shared a cabin on an
Aruba cruise on the Seawind Crown. Margaret was Deb Pagnard Ladig's Mom as well as Grandmother of Deb's sons Josh & Jesse Ladig also pictured below. It's never been more apparent that life is so short and precious -- and should be lived to the fullest. AMEN!
ESTELLE NASTRUZ
I regret that I do not have a photograph of Estelle Nastruz of Davenport, Iowa. Estrelle was a lovely lady with the ready smile. She and her husband Joe cruised with us on both the 2000 "Aloha in the Caribbean with Butch Cruise" and the 2001 "Aloha in
Alaska with Butch Cruise". Estelle called me quite often just to check in, asking with each phone call if I knew who was calling. She seemed delighted when I always recognized her Iowa accent. If anyone happens to have her photo, I would love to add it here to our memory page.
